THE FAMILY GARDEN

ORTICOLARIO 2012 | Villa Erba, Como Lake – October 2012 | VERDEarchitettura has designed and prepared in collaboration with Syngenta FloriPro Services two spaces at Orticolario 2012 with the intention to raise awareness of the new generation to the world of the garden. We are of the opinion that the gardens are interesting not only as a beautiful, useful or entertaining places , we think that they can offer more. Our children and young teenagers can still be fascinated by the huge potential that exists in the gardens thanks to the knowledge that is passed on within the family . We wanted to stage two small places from which to take inspiration. In the park, a large orange pot is all decorated with colored violets , sedum , echinacea , Heuchere and vaporous gramincacee ( Stipa tenuissima , Festuca glauca). The big vase , however, is too high for the sight of a small child , so that on the ground, there is another big orange vase collapsed , from where it have fallen off all the flowers forming a small garden on a children scale, complete with a wooden bridge to cross, the bedding and furniture suitable for baby to stop for a moment to rest.
