With a 360 ° view over the rooftops of Milan, the wide terrace was divided into two rooms with two different outdoor flooring. On a platform made by big wooden planks there is an iron pergola covered with climbing plants flower in summer (Lonicera periclymenum, Campsis radicans), that overcomes a comfortable area for relaxing outdoors surrounded by planters with shrubs of boxwood, anemones and fescues. The gray-green color chosen for the pergola and for the planters is taken up in the nuances of ornamental grasses and evergreen climbings that grow on the wall. A small formal garden, set in cement planters paneled with woven willow, surrounds a large area for children to play on a travertine flooring. Here you will find herbs for culinary use, a small orchard, climbing roses and borders of multicolored herbaceous perennials flowering progressively throughout the year. [Photocredit © Dario Fusaro]
